Stormriders
Sky nomads with lightning lances. Quick to strike.
Pick up the unit at the back of a file. Set it down at the back of another.
Three of a colour in a file become a strike. It counts down its turns, then goes up the file.
Three of a colour in a rank become a wall. It takes the blow for whoever stands behind it.
You have three actions a turn. Dismiss a unit to close a gap, and if that completes a strike or a wall the action is free. What a strike has left when it reaches the far edge comes off the enemy commander's health.

Sky nomads with lightning lances. Quick to strike.

Smith clans and the engines they build. Heavy, and hard on walls.

Reef folk who call the sea. They mend their commander and empty your power.

A lantern-lit court in moth-wing cloaks. They take your actions and keep them.
Each army has three line units, two guards, two giants and a wall of its own. Every commander has a power on a meter that fills as blows land.
The Stormline is a wall of lightning across the middle of the world. Four peoples raised it to end a war, and it has stood for three hundred years. Now one span has gone dark. Each side blames the other. You are the captain sent to find out who did it.
